I have recently started running alot and my leg muscles are getting bigger. The problem is that my shorts aren't fitting anymore! The waist is almost loose but the legs are tight! Do I need to stretch more or what?

you are just gaining muscle on your legs.
i dont know for how long you are running but it should be 4-6 times a week for 30-50min.
try pilates a couple of days a week - they will give you more lean muscle
you should be stretching before exercising to prevent injuries and after to prevent soreness.
