Because marriage shows that you REALLY are committed. Marriage implies that you're in it for life. If you are committed, why wouldn't you want to get married?

Because if we are commited and in love why not get married. That just one more way to show how much we really mean to you guys. You all wanna say your committed but when we bring up the m word you all act like it is a bad word it is the same just more of a closer bond that you all share. It is a part of the BIBLE so we will not be living a sinful life.

We want commitment, which marriage is the ultimate commitment. Even if you're in a monogamous relationship, there's always the threat of "well if this doesn't work out, we can split up." Yes, some people treat marriages like this too... I guess every girl's dream is to have a nice romantic wedding and have their happily ever after.

I guess that's what most girls believe is the fairytale (I hate that.) or the next chapter in their lives . It's what most girls were taught growing up . To me, a faithful, loving ,committed relationship is a great thing . If you enjoy that person enough and knew or know now that they don't want to get married now or ever, then you either move on or accept it for what it is.

Because we want to be respectable. And no, the ultimate commitment is marriage. It's a bad example to set for children in a relationship when the parents are not married.

Hmmmm,,,I thought "a faithful, loving, committed relationship" was marriage. Well, actually marriage is your acknowledge that it is "a faithful, loving, committed relationship" and not just something you will get out of on a whim. Unless, of course, your idea of a "faithful, loving, committed relationship" means: I will love you forever or until someone cuter comes along.

That is just something that girls even at young ages want. They want a family of their own. And it is the ultimate way to show your love for someone. By saying that you will always be there for them. And that you care enough to marry them.

the girls just want to feel secure that you won't be all over looking for someone else. they want to make a family with you. they want the security they had as kids with her own parents. it's much beter to stay single and enjoy the love without marriage problems.
