Move it to glass. The plastic will give it an odd taste over time.

First of all, I don't suggest buying bourbon in a plastic container. All of your better bourbons come in glass bottles.
If you have chosen to buy the plastic bottle version it will be fine in it's original container.
If you still feel the need to put it in a decanter you might want to read this info about lead crystal decanters. You might change your mind.

Always keep alcohol in glass if possible. Otherwise the alcohol will leach out impurities from the plastic, just like in Chemistry class. That Can't be good for you.

If you bought it in plastic you may as well leave it in the plastic. It has already been in there for months so any flavors or odors that might come from the plastic have already been transferred to the bourbon.

It could be physchological, but I wouldn't buy it packaged
that way -- it just don't taste the same. Likewise for
juices and soda -- go for glass.
