I think , it depends on several parameters . You know! , you ask a very good question ! . . .
above mentioned parameters are :

1 - Cancer type .
2 - Cancer Stage .
3 - Operability .
4 - Previous patient psychological backgrounds .
5 - Family support .
6 - Cancer induced permanent disfiguration of body .
7 - Degree of Chemo/Radio-sensitivity .

If I was a cancer sufferer , in an end stage , with terminal events such as bowel obstruction , permanent facial disfiguration and . . . that necessitate bedridden state I will s...! . But this is not the manner of all cancers .There are several new approvals each day ! , several hopeful horizons and . . . so this decision is too hard to take! . You must consult with your oncologist , surgeon & psychologist to take
such a big decision .
I hope you ask this , for your own knowledge , not for any real problems ! .

You do not just move to Oregon and get to kill yourself.

Oregon's death with dignity law is limited to state residents with terminal cancer who can pass a battery of psychological tests proving to two Drs that they are not depressed, already have adequate pain control and then still want to end their life. The patient must be told by two Drs they have less than six months to live and they must be able to ingest the drugs by themselves without help. Of the 60 or so people who apply each year for the drugs, only about 35 actually go ahead with their death.

No. you have needless to say been listening to claims that chemo kills greater human beings than cancer, therapy worse than the illness and so on. each and every from time to time human beings get carry of suggestions like that through fact with cancer there are few unwell outcomes if any till the cancer is amazingly more desirable, and a individual with an competitive and more desirable cancer in many situations seems, feels and behaves like a healthful individual. Then in the event that they have chemotherapy area outcomes of the medicine can cause them to unwell, each and every from time to time very unwell and frail, on an identical time as therapy is happening. So some human beings end that the therapy is worse than the illness, and myths approximately human beings being killed by making use of chemo bolster this theory. Chemo isn't helpful. yet in those situations it rather is the cancer, not the therapy, that kills the affected person - they have died regardless of therapy, not through fact of it. Distressed family members each and every from time to time seek for some thing or somebody in charge, and a few end that it became the therapy that killed the guy. With some styles of chemotherapy, and in some cancers, there is an extremely somewhat larger danger of arising a 2nd form of cancer later. generally that's greater in all danger to happen while the unique cancer became a lymphoma, regardless of the undeniable fact that it could happen very often times with different styles of cancer. luckily this very severe long-term effect is extremely uncommon. yet specific it happens, and specific very often times somebody dies subsequently. those with competitive and more desirable cancers who conform to chemotherapy are not duped; they accomplish that in the finished expertise of those info through fact they have a life-threatening illness and that's their best danger. Chemo and different cancer remedies at the instant are not acceptable, very a approaches from it. yet all of us understand they save many lives, and put off many, many greater through fact they have been examined and shown in double blind scientific trials.

what is terminal cancer? it's a doctor's estimate on how long you will live after a nasty diagnosis. i've had cancer numerous times, been told i'd be dead many times, but i aint. get on a plane, go to greece and soak in their natural, wonderful hot radion therapeutic mineral baths, it's mamma nature's natural radiation, cures cancer, gets rid of tumors, and other kinds od diseases too....goes in your body like a little magic and fixes it...no side effects, just the bliss of floating in thick warm water for about 4 euros a bath....

Suicide is final. Chemotherapy is a chance. Wouldn't it be ironic if you committed suicide and on the same day they found a cure for cancer.
