Different beliefs fascinate me and I was wondering if any of you were away of any strange cults or belief systems that people actually believe in.

I don't think Scientology is weird. Jim Jones Town Religion was weird or still is weird if people a following it. Any of those mass commune death religion are weird. That's why they don't exist any more, there beliefs where to far fetch,weird etc. etc. to covert people from there religions to these weird ones.
If you wish to discuss this further I would be so happy to do so, it is a subject that can go on for hours and hours, depends how far you won't to discuss about church and religion and true beliefs

Mine I read the bible & come to my own conclusines because I believe the words writting but I believe there is more than the bible & man has + & - things for the benefit of themselves so I like to look a lot deeper than just the writting word like miracles & people's feelings on GOD the different religions have something in them to see I also look at how people react about death because it shows me their true belief of the afterlife

The darkest could be any blood for sin faith. it quite is very actual because of the fact the founding father of that faith became into attempting to cajole the those that God is almost a loving heavenly Father. So what do the followers pontificate? A deity who demands blood for sin. So the full concern has been became upside-down. greater on my bio.

I think Mormons have an odd religion because their beliefs were basically created by a random guy named Joseph Smith. He claimed to have a vision by God that told him to marry more than one women and that its necessary to have more then one wife to get into the highest level of heaven.

my own religion, Discordianism. It's pretty bizarre and I don't think anyone in their right mind could ever believe it. But many people are not in their right mind so I'm sure there are some folks out there who actually believe it. Including me sometimes.
nothing tops Scientology though. Well, apart from Christianity perhaps. God sacrificed himself to clean us of his own wrath and in remembrance we eat bread that turns into his body?

I can't see any other difference between Mythology & Folklore and Religion & Spirituality other than all the bitterness and hostility of ones beliefs in this section...
