That I'd rather be hated for who I am, than be loved for who I am not.

I could not say that there is one most profound thing that I have learned.

A list:

-realizing that I am matter and am not exempt from any physical laws, all my perceptions take form in the physical matter that is my brain.
-realizing the relativity of my size, the relativity of everything.
-realizing that no matter how much I think I'll always know nothing and that my knowledge is subjective.

If I thought longer, I should like to think that I could produce a larger list.

There is no one profound thing, we should make every day a learning experience.

That there is a God. For years, I thought religion was a crutch that people used to make them feel better. Then one day, I heard him speak to me. I was down on my knees, searching for the truth, when he spoke to me in an audible voice. He said, "Abba", which I found out later, meant Father. He said something else but the voice was so powerful and so far away, I couldn't understand...but I felt his love for me. He filled me with his spirit and I spoke in a language I didn't understand but I knew the words were magnifying God...I floated around on air for a long time after that. You might say, I was so Heavenly minded, I was no Earthly good. LOL
I was in awe and I still am...

Do I care if anyone believes this? Yes, but it won't change a thing if you don't...I have never looked back. I started my journey for Heaven and though it hasn't always been easy, I am still here and standing... It has been 27 years now.

It's a toss-up between two truths: 1) All religions are inherently false because they do not understand the true nature of objective reality, and 2) The government of the USA, utterly poisoned by the non-constitutional two party system, does not represent the best interests of her citizens.

2 issues: a million. There comes a time in each and every guy's guidance while he arrives on the conviction that envy is lack of information, that imitation is suicide, that he could desire to take himself for extra constructive or worse as his element, that even with the shown fact that the extensive universe if crammed with solid, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him, yet by way of his toil, bestowed on that plot of floor it is given to him to till. and a couple of. To be fairly effective, you may desire to stay with 2 effortless policies: a million. do no longer tell human beings each and every thing you be responsive to. and a couple of........(won't be able to allow you be responsive to)

The most profound thing I have learned in my lifetime is that God exists. I really never learned it, God showed me he exists.

I cant pick just one, so I wont ;)

That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them

That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere

That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved

That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand

That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for

That perception is often limited by language; that perception can be consciously used and focussed; that history is stories not facts; that concepts are transformative; that the limitations of words can melt away when words are forgotten; that compassion is effective.

Can't pick one...

To love and be loved.
The more I learn, the more I learn that there is more to learn.
That I can learn something from anyone. (even if it's just what not to do)

That, no matter what anyone tries to convince me to believe, in the end, everything that I do, say, take part in or believe is up to me. Everything I know or don't know--or accept--is up to me. Everything I come in contact with is independent and how I cope with the contact is up to me.
