my brother has been going through really hard times, and it's getting really difficult for him to get over a few hours of good sleep a night. He has this recurring dream about a snake slithering from behind and biting him in the foot. Do you have a clue as for what this means?
He also dreamt he had a scorpion under his nail, and managed to pull it all out ....weird, huh?

the snake symbolizes someone in his life that can't be trusted like a liar or a backstabber (maybe a person that he considered to be a friend). The scorpion represents pain and hard times, also death and rebirth getting rid of the old and starting new. Since he takes the scorpion out of his nail he may be taking a new path in life.

you probably have a fear of some sort since the snake is trying to bite and kill you. The snake represents the deception and by your brother being bit, it represents he has fallen under the influence of some kind of deception. Being bit on the foot represents that his walk in life has been hindered. Or there are some things in which he is losing a "firm footing". The scorpion represents and issue or demons which have come to "dry" or your peace, joy, happiness, and sometimes finances. By the scorpion being under his nail, it represents that the work of your brother's hands was hindered. There were some things which he did not have the confindence to carry out or initiate in his life. But since he pulled the scorpion out, the issue has been resolved. Your brother's dream is from God.

It reflects the hard time he is going through. The scorpion being pulled out is his belief that he will be able to get out of the situation he is in. The snake and the scorpion represents the problem that keeps coming after him.
A snake biting a foot is actually a biblical reference to the last line in Genesis 3:15.

Well if he knows Jesus, then He that is within him is greater than the devil that is in this world. Thus, the serpent may strike his heal, but he has the power to crush the serpents head under foot.
He's letting his fears get the best of him.
If he knows Jesus, he just needs to claim victory, and do a lil dance on the serpent's head.
He needs to face and overcome his fears.
At the moment he is in bondage to them.

Sounds like your brother has some fears regarding unresolved issues in his life. When I have a difficult time getting to sleep, I quietly pray continuously for a resolution, while in the bed (lights off, TV off, no sounds in the room, head on pillow) ... when I awaken it morning and usually I have an answer to my problem.

those types of animals are usually linked with evil. even sickness or death. a snake is sneaky, a scorpion deadly. maybe he as a hidden illness that could be deadly.

a snake could be like symbolizing the devil. So, its just that he feels miserble in his life and its usually the devil who is behind all
