I always take it at 6am. I set an alarm clock. But now, it's 7:30pm and I'm not sure if I've taken it today or not. Should I take it now?

Last night I went to bed very late and slept till noon. I don't remember if I set the clock or not.

I don't feel particularly depressed now (not worse than everyday), but I've got a strange feeling in my head, and earlier today I was feeling so annoyed at everything in the world (which btw did make sense to some extent).

It's a 75mg capsule.

It depends on your dosing regimen. Most prescription drugs come with an information sheet, follow it, if all else fails, call your Doctor.

The maximum dose of Effexor is 225 mg. Since you're unsure as to whether or not you took today's dose, I would take a dose now. It's been at least a few hours since you *might* have taken the other one, so you won't be taking one immediately on top of the other. In general, with antidepressants, it's a good idea NOT to let the level in the bloodstream drop; better to bump it up a bit for a few hours than to let it drop.

Wait until the next day to take your pill. If you are on an extended release pill you may still have it in your system. Don't chance it. It won't throw you off to miss one day.

Count how many pills you have left and see. If you didn't just take it now, it's not too far from the time you were supposed to take it.

Just skip it today. Don't wanna take one in case you already have. One day isn't going to hurt...Don't worry, ok?

call your doctors office and see what they want you to do. usually they would tell you to just forget about it and take it again at your next dosage time.
