I live in a small apartment building. The people below me are crackheads who stay up all night making noise and entertaining customers. Moving is not an option. What would you do?

It is not always enough noise to call the cops, mostly just a lot of knocking on the door and people climbing in and out of the window. So it affects my sleep but isn't necessarily enough to complain about.
I am reluctant to call the police as I do not want them to know it was me. they are not nice people.
My landlord keeps saying he is going to evict them and is just waiting for the sheriff.

Boy that's got to be miserable. Nothing worse than rotten neighbors. I would complain to the management. Any chance of calling the cops on them? Just make sure they won't know it's you who called, because they may retaliate, and crackheads have no sense when high!

If you have solid proof of her illegal hard drug use, that would be a quick way to get the cops to take the situation seriously. Is there somebody else living there with her that she screams at? Can you figure out what's going on up there? Do you have a number where the manager can be reached at night? If the tenant above starts in with the screaming, you might be able to call the manager and let him get an earful of the noise, if it's really loud enough to be heard over the phone.

Buy a basketball and when they become loud bounce it, It works best in an area that has tile floors, the kitchen is very good for this. Also since there up all night make sure you are nice and loud during the day, know anyone with kids let them go stampeding through your house at 8 in the morning

depends on if they're 'friendly' crackheads or crackheads who own and use guns... if they're approachable try and be friendly about it and make them some cookies or somethin, bring it to them, while your there tell them about lowering the noise level i guess? i wouldn't even be living around violent crackheads if i was u, moving Would be an option!

Call The Cops...once the cops are there and tell them to be quiet,they will probably find the crack and they will get evicted and thrown in jail...there! one cop call and the crackheads are gone cause of their foolish mistakes!

If they are making meth, they are endangering everyone in the building.
If they are just dealing, it can still be a dangerous situation.

Be careful with crackheads, they are really insane.
Can you make your place quieter? Sound proffing, cushons and stuff?
And ask them to keep it down.
