The only people that I know all drink. I don't know how I can meet safe people.

Here's my take....I have just a year of sobriety but I've come to the conclusion that there is Alcohol Everywhere. I thought of changing my friends but their not alcoholics their just social drinkers which is what most of the world is. You really can't get away from it. People drink at weddings, wakes, company picnics, sporting events. Jeez there's even wine in Church! So what it comes down to is that we just have to suck it up, be strong and take one day at a time.

i think its great that u have decided to change your life. and it is also a good idea too that you dont want to hang with those who have a drinking problem. im sure you could find someone at work or maybe a program that helps people to quit their addictions. i just want to say im so proud of you.
