Billybonzobones, you don’t need to ask god for forgiveness. You may as well ask Santa Claus for forgiveness. The Abrahamic god of the bible is a myth, no more real then Zeus, Odin, Ra, Vishnu, Osiris, Shiva, Hekate, Dangun, Jupiter, Izanagi, etc...
The bible is filled with lie after lie and more inconsistencies then most modern fiction. Yes people still cling to the hope that some god exists.
The only forgiveness you need is the forgiveness that you give yourself. If you have injured or offended someone without cause and you feel as though you need forgiveness, ASK THEM or quit wining about it. If you can not ask them, then ask yourself if you are going to change yourself so you do not make the same mistake again. If the answer is yes, you will or have learned from your mistake and will do better in the future. Then forgive yourself and move on. This whole asking god to forgive you in a lie. It serves no purpose but to weaken you...and all humanity. END THE LIES! Take responsibility for yourself.
I hope this helps.

There is nothing that can escape the forgiveness of God, through the shed blood of Christ. Satan is the one that tries to tell you you are not forgiven. However, I must say this- confessing your sins, without accepting Christ as payment for those sins, will not get you forgiveness. What I mean is this- if you ask God to forgive, you must confess with you heart that you have sinned against God, and that you need Christ to be the payment for your sin. However, even after you do that- do not base your forgiveness on "feelings" - just believe that you are forgiven- and then you will have a certainty. When I first came to Christ, I did not "feel" any different either- The Christian life if more than just a free ticket to heaven, by the way, it is a new life.

If you have repented then you are forgiven, that's the truth because the bible says that the truth! You can't always trust your feelings, that's an obvious truth too, so that's why christians ought to know the Word of God, as that's the truth we base our faith on. After I had my divine revelation of Jesus, I learnt the Bible eagerly, and now I know who I am in christ.
Please read, 'victory over darkness' (it's a bit heavy going) and 'the shock of your life' (which is aimed at teenagers but will answer all your questions).
Further, there is no sin that wasn't covered by Jesus on the cross.

I doubt it. The only unforgiveable sin listed in the Bible is the rejection of the Holy Spirit. If you are confessing your sins then you have not rejected the Holy Spirit.
There are two possibilities as to why you have "no sense that I am forgiven". The first is that you have confessed your sin without any desire to repent (change or turn from your sin). If we only want forgiveness but don't want to change our lives, God will not be fooled.
The second and more likely possibility is that God has forgiven you but you have not forgiven yourself. Sometimes, depending on where we are at in life, we may need to discuss our sin and feelings with a pastor or other religious leader. It can help as the Bible says to "confess to one another". More importantly there are at times issues in our lives that keep us from forgiving ourselves. A pastor can help us with that.
May God bless you on your journey.

When I first gave my life to Jesus, nothing happened. I thought the same as you, that I had been too bad and believe me I used to live a pretty grim life. But Jesus did enter into my heart and change me upon invitation. I would advise you to pray this prayer. Dear Father in Heaven, I ask that you would forgive me all my sins, forgive me all the things I have done wrong in my life that has offended you. Lord Jesus I ask that you would come into my life, come into my heart and change me. I believe that you died on the cross for me. Thank you.
When you pray this prayer speak it out loud, for the Bible says 'If you confess with your mouth you shall be saved'.
Let me know how you get on. I will pray for you.

When we confess to God that we have done something wrong, and we truly repent of that sin, we have to leave it with Him, and not go down that road again. If you are still feeling guilty, then you are still holding on to it.
Jesus, died for the sins of this world, that means you too! Be determined to change, your
load will be a lot lighter. God Bless.

God WILL forgive you! That's what's so great about believing in Jesus.. all you need to do is ask forgiveness, and the Bible says As far as the East is from the West, that is how far your sins are from you now. You feel you haven't been forgiven because you haven't forgiven yourself. Just remember self doubt is a lie from Hell! Satan wants you to feel like crap all the time!

Who don't believe in the forgive of God isn't a believer.
Must believe , what God forgives isn't more in`your past, you will forget those facts, if you sincerely say sorry for them , from all hart. Jesus Christ was suffering for ALL our sins, in Jesus was dead all the past men( the siner men who ask for forgive), and in Jesus Christ was Resurrected the all new christian men.
Don't give up, if the hart feel he can't do those sins anymore , that means in your hart live the Love of Jesus and the forgive of God Father. Choice The Light for your soul.

Don't listen to any one but the Lord Himself.
The fact that you know you're a sinner makes you very much a candidate for the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ as it's people like you that he loves to save.
Jesus Himself said that all manner of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven (except blasphemy against the Holy Ghost which is a sin which can't be committed in this day and age as the circumstances no longer exist) No matter how bad you think your case is you have taken it to Jesus in prayer and confessed it all to Him. And the moment you did, you were forgiven and "sealed with the Holy Spirit of God until the day of redemption" the Lord is saying to you that there is no one who can't be saved.
never place your faith in feelings as they come and go. The free gift of eternal life is given very silently and you have God's word on it that all your past has been removed and no longer in His mind and sight therefore, you have no right to remember what the Lord has forgiven and forgotten. i.e. you no longer have a past with the Lord as he placed all your sin on Jesus on the cross being past, present and future.
Remember, trust in the Lord and not your feelings!
