I would like to get a Scottish Fold. Are they good cats?

I would like to get a Scottish Fold as a cat but I would like to know if they are loveable and friendly cats. Are there any grooming tips I need to know or anything else important?

And do you think Lotus would be a cute name for a cat?

Now, as to "Lotus" for a "Scottish" cat. Lotus would be good for a Siamese or Burmese cat, something oriental.

For a Scottish cat, I'd suggest "Haggis [Scottish sausage]", "Niblick [9-iron golf club]", Skirl [the whine of a bag pipe] or Angus McTavish.
