I really HATE to eat, it fills me with dread eating- especially breakfast i literally DREAD waking up and eating. I have to know how much fat/calories is in my food and i have to eat the same thing at the same time. I wish that i could take a pill and it would give me my 2,000 calories a day and i wont have to eat ever again and think about all this crap. How do i stop obsessing about my body and the food i eat?

You have a serious problem. You need help from a professional counsellor before the problem compltetley takes over your life. Go and see your GP first and explain what you have written down. Well done for thinking that you may even have a problem - that was the first step forward that you have made.

Hi,

im sorr to say this is a problem...and could lead to anorexia of your fear becomes too much that you actually stop eating. You don't sound like you hate the thought of weight gain as much as the actual food but since both are linked maybe both are an issue. There is actually probably a reason for you feeling like this, whether your aware or not. i suffer from eating disorders and i too have to eat the same thing daily but i get help as i have other issues too. You need to go to your gp and talk about this. he or she could refer you to a dietican or a counsellor just to help you figure out how to overcome this....its not the complete answer but these people can help you better than most.

Hope you haven't thought about harming your self but no magic pill can give you the enjoyment of a main meal end of the day no matter how many calories we try to eat less but if you're like me seeing certain foods thinking yes why did i eat that feeling pleased just to hide or throw it then bother eating it in the first place just because it's their.

Good for you.....acknowledging that this is not right.
Food should be social, fun,and interesting.....to you it is a threat and a frightening experience.
Did your mum watch your diet....I have been studying small ...pre-school children who are in nursery settings....and you would not believe the number of 3 and 4 year olds who have an eating disorder....all from their mums. They can't eat this...they are allergic to that...they must eat separate food....oh my God...what terrors these mums are instilling into their babies...I wonder if this happened to you???
You need to identify where it came from....you need to go to your doctor....you need to ask for help...hypnosis....counselling....anything.
Then get re-programmed so that you can start to enjoy food...
We are only on this planet for two things...eating and procreation....and you will miss out on both.
Again well done for asking for help...well asking the question anyway. GOOD LUCK

Why do you have to know how much fat/calories you are eating? I just eat what tastes good, but I don't have any health problems. If I did, I'd probably still just eat what tastes good; I personally think it's better to enjoy a short life than live a long miserable one. But I don't recommend that to other people of course.

I have suffered with anorexia and bulimia so i can relate to your feelings. I seeked counselling and at 1st i thought it was a waste of time but my partner suggested i tried it a few more times before i gave up. I`m glad he did as it really helped me. When i had my disorder i was always feeling ill, my hair started thinning and dropping out, had no energy, was very aggressIve and nasty to people for no reason and was always tired. You need to seek help before it gets to the point of no return. I still worry about my looks as ive put a little weight on due to medication i`m taking but my partner reassures me and gives me lots of support. Try speaking to someone you feel you can trust. Mail me if you need anymore advice.

I'd try and get used to it if I were you. You're going to have to do it three times a day for the rest of your life. To be honest I don't really enjoy eating that much but I put in the effort to try and eat three healthy meals a day.

That is a good one, Some times I don't want to eat but the thing is no shoots or get sick, no food or get sick. Pick something that you like and eat the right amount.

This could be signs of an eating disorder try experimenting with foods like fresh fruit and wheat. See your GP about your problem. And studies show that you lose more weight if you have breakfast every day cause it kick starts your metabolism
