Last week reading the online news clips, the figure was 60 billion a month just for Iraq. Neocons just can't stand social programs so they divert funds to military contractors, which would be okay, but other things like farm subsidies don't get changed. There is no real budget.

It already adds up to "real money". As for the answer that the war will be paid for with Iraqi oil money I won't hold my breath. I think the truth is that that the good old U.S. taxpayer will foot the bill.

The War helps to enrich the Oil companies with cheap oil of Iraq. The war help to Test the New weapons manufactured in USA, war helps empoyment of weapon factory... war helps construction business.

Aand many are benefitted apart from the Glory it brings to those who loose their life in the Service of the nation...

and worser than that is that most of our taxes are going to the isrealean pockets to kill palestinians.
We are spending much more than 12 billion dollars over there.

It already is real money. It is a whole lot of real money. War is expensive, even after it is over. When a nation's major business is war, it can get pretty crazy.
