Stop driving and shut off the power? Move to higher ground and start stock piling? Or cut our losses and pray the ship goes down swiftly?

Those of you who are completely ignorant about global warming, I would like to see your sources. The earth is the hottest it has EVER been in 650,000 years and it has only been getting hotter since humans have been increasing their carbon footprint and burning mass amounts of trees and brush for development. Doesn`t this wake you up?

Two things. Reduce it to where we can cope with it, and then deal with the remaining effects of it.

Here's the plan to reduce it. It is very affordable, unlike the effects of unreduced global warming, which would drive the world into an economic depression. The 1930s would look like good times.

On December 26, 2004 a Earth Quake hit the Indian Ocean. This earthquake triggered a series of devastating tsunamis killing large numbers of people and inundating coastal communities across Southeast Asia. 229,866 people lost.
The magnitude of the earthquake was originally recorded as 9.0, but has been increased to between 9.1 and 9.3. At this magnitude, it is the second largest earthquake ever recorded on a seismograph. This earthquake was also reported to be the longest duration of faulting ever observed, lasting between 500 and 600 seconds (8.3 to 10 minutes), and it was large enough that it caused the entire planet to vibrate as much as half an inch, or over a centimeter. It also triggered earthquakes in other locations as far away as Alaska.
The earth will continue to change. It did it long before we got here and will continue long after were gone.
Can we really do anything about it? Yea cutting back on energy use is a good idea, but will it really solve the problem of global warming? I doubt it. learning to adjust to the earths changes makes more sense.

There is nothing that man can do about global warming. For one global warming is not caused by man. Global warming is caused by the sun. Now since no one is on Mars, and be on and they are warming up too that should tell you that the sun is getting a little hotter. One volcano puts more pollutants in the air than every man woman and child fling in private jets every where for a hundred years. On top of that co2 has nothing to do with global warming. You see you breath in oxygen and breath out co2. The plants breaths in co2 and breaths out oxygen. Now if you said that water vapor is making it warmer you would be closer to being right. If you live closer to the coast or even by a very large lake or even after a summer rain where the humidity is the highest it seems hotter than if you go to a desert. That is because the water vapor magnifies the heat. So you see Global Warming doesn't exist except in Al Gore's mind and those who choose to follow him.

Sit back and watch, as there isn't anything we can do about it. The earth has been warming since the last ice age. Eventually, it will begin to cool again, and the earth will begin to shift into another ice age(not in our, or the next many generations lifetimes). Then everyone will be running around talking about "Global Cooling" and what we can do to stop/reduce it.

The thing I hate about "Global Warming" is that Libtards are crying wolf over something that does not require lies. I do not need to be frightened into converting to cheaper flourescent lighting, and it only makes SENSE to replace fossil fuels with renewables, since fossils can only get more expensive as they get used up. Everything that "Global Warming" calls for can be done for economic reasons. So why the lies? The truth is that GW was never about protecting the environment. It's about controlling the People. Don't fall for the lies! Don't listen to the fearmongers! We can do a LOT to protect this planet without the 'help' of Algore and his band of 'merry men'. Let's act like adults, and do this for the RIGHT reasons!

It's just good sense.

Same thing we did last time, forgot about it when nothing bad happened and it finally went out of fashion in the late 1980's.

Next decade we will probably be back to the meteorite crashing into the earth or the san andreas fault causing tidal waves around the world etc.

Or maybe running out of oxygen and suffocating once the amazon jungle is deplted too much, as also was supposed to happen in the 1980's.....
