Since I was around 16, I have had intermittent stomach aches and constant gas. I'm 21 now and I probably should of done something about it sooner, but I've gotten so used to dealing with it. It got noticeably worse about 3 yrs ago. I have not noticed my symptoms get any worse after eating a lot of any specific kind of food (such as dairy), but I don't think I should rule out some sort of food sensitivity as a cause. I tried gasx and beano, but they didn't work at all. I'm thinking about trying a probiotic supplement. So what do you think might be wrong with me? Anyone have the same problem? Should I see a doctor?

Keep a food diary, write down EVERYTHING you eat for about a week. Cross reference it with your symptoms and see if something pops out at you. You might try cutting down on carbs especially things like cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli and eating more protein.

About five years ago I was having symptoms similar to what you are explaining. I went to the doctor and was told I had something like an ulcer, just not quite as severe. I would throw up every morning regardless of what I had eaten or drank the day before. He gave me Ranitidine (prescription strength Zantac). I took it twice a day for several months and and never had the problem again.

You might have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Other foods besides dairy can cause problems in people with this disorder. You could try cutting out dairy for a week or two to see how you feel.

Don't you hate this? It's so uncomfortable to have that stomach feeling after you ate, and lots of time you don't even know what caused it!!! You need to drink a lot of water, lots!, I would recommend ,yes, better see a nutritionist, she'll guide your food and I bet you'll notice the difference. Please avoid all junk food..... I bet you are drinking or eating something that is causing you this. I am not against medication but remember that natural remedies are better, Hope you feel much better, friend.
