CLARIFICATION: As the question is directed to Christians, in this example, Christians are pretending to know the fate of the homosexuals.

The architects of Christianity knew they must keep the rules as simple as possible for their religion's equally simple-minded followers.

All sins are treated the same. In Christianity it is no more terrible to tell a lie than it is to commit mass murder of little children after raping them. They all get the same punishment. Burn in Hell for eternity.

It's one of the most unjust systems of punishment. If our own government decided to have one punishment for all crimes people would proclaim how unjust it was, but since it's suppose to be a god doing the judging then he's let to do what he likes and his followers don't hesitate to proclaim what a Just and Loving god they have. Christians are SO DELUSIONAL!

Christians aren't pretending to know the fate of homosexuals,Leviticus chapter 18 verse 22,says a man shall not lay down with a man or a woman with a woman,it is an abomination to god, also Romans chapter 3 says that the homosexuals shall not inherit the kingdom of god, neither the liars, adulterers killers, idol worshipers, or anyone who commits sin.

I may be reading this wrong most of the answers seem to be either a defense or condemnation of homosexuality, right?

I read the question which is the greater sin, sexual deviance or judging ( bearing false witness) My thought is God would view either with equal disgust. Sin is sin period. No sin could carry more value than another. It's the same in either case the wages of sin are death. Both require the same confession and repentance.
Hope I got this one right.

I believe that sin is sin and it doesn't matter which one you choose, it leads to the same ends. I've heard that some sin is an "abomination" and some sin is "unforgivable" but I don't know enough of such things to comment. The way I see it, it's not for us to judge which sins are worse or better. judging such things just creates a chasm between people and aids the stratification of humans which doesn't help anybody anywhere. You're job is to love somebody no matter what they've done. That's what God has charged us with (see the new testament. that command is scattered all through there). The rest is up to God and I'm grateful that he takes that responsibility. I certainly wouldn't want it.

One can't say which is the greater or lesser. It is only God that knows. But sin is always a sin, that is going against the will of God and for a moment you put yourself as God. No matter what it is. But God is also Love and always ready to forget whatever sin we did. So there is no way in comparing homosexuality with anything else. God understand us and so is the Church. It is not the homosexual himself that is a sin but the action that he does. So also a transexual can also sin in this way. God don't want the action and not the man himself. So long as you turn to God and ask for forgiveness God will do so. As Christians we have to understand all of our neighbours and their fragility whatever they may be. Jesus told us himself " Forgive and you shall be forgiven". Keep that in mind.

I'd say pretending to know their ultimate fate is the greater sin because it comes with fries and a small coke

Pretending is just a lie. It is wrong, and it is a sin. Homosexuality is an end result of total rejection of God (see Romans 1: 21-27). When a person becomes a homosexual-they have been abandoned by God, it can not get any worse.

While it is true that as Christians we should not judge, there is a difference between judging and acknowledging what hte bible says. The bible says that sinners will go to hell, and it also says that homosexuality is a sin. So by acknowledgin that the bible says this, it is not a sin. Now, when Christians go out and slander, abuse, protest gays, i think that it wrong because Jesus wouldn't be out there doing all that kinda stuff...

I don't understand your question, but I will comment. Sin is a behavior, not a person. According to most Christian attitudes, the sexual acts committed by homosexuals is considered against God's rules, but He still loves them. God loves everyone. More than you can ever imagine, but when breaking rules, there are consequences. I'm just saying the theory of homosexuals and Christian Biblical view generally speaking.
