If he just snubs him, then they can probably live in the same house together. If he is actually harming the other cat, then that is another matter and you might need to find a new home for one of them. It's too hard to keep them separated all the time. Very frustrating, but there's not much you can do to change his mind. I am assuming both are neutered. It's becoming an issue now because the younger one is reaching maturity. Older cats will sometimes tolerate kittens but won't tolerate other adults.

they often propose no longer declawing previous 300 and sixty 5 days, because of the fact the animal has had a year to income to function with claws, and not having them would be distressing for the animal. additionally the surgical treatment would properly be extra risky the older the animal is. Now onto the toddler difficulty that i think of is each new father and mom project and it incredibly is a valid one. in the adventure that your cat is companies to clawing and scratching yet likes toys, try getting certainly one of those emery cat kitty scratcher that information their nails down competently. and take a verify out behaviour therapy with the cat. in case you have a toy and the kitty assaults you to get it. positioned the toy away and forget approximately touching directly to the cat for a minute. try getting the toy back and repeating the technique till the cat no longer assaults you. whilst this occurs you reward the cat with the toy. It takes awhile to coach a cat, besides the undeniable fact that it incredibly is executed.
