so its summer i have the tatt for about 12 days now how much.
Can i go swimming? it kind of have some scabs but not much.
I'm in the caribbean so every1 is going to the beach. lots of chicks. If not how long should i wait?

wouldn't the sun be a prob? the sun is really hot here

you should stay out of the water for a month and you should do everything possible to keep it out of the sun forever. sun damages tattoos so badly over time it is just a waste of money to expose them like that. keep it covered while it is healing.

you really shouldn't be in the sun because it will fade very easily especially being so new. I would wait to go swimming until the scabs are gone because you don't want it to get infected because then it will look like crap for the rest of you life. Make sure you keep it moist with lotion so that it will heal faster.

stay away from pools, the chlorine will fade it also wear lots of sunblock since its a new tattoo your better off avoiding the sun completley for a while. but if you need to be there where a high spf sunblock and reapply often

Yes you can go swimming ,you just cant soak in say a tub of water for a prolonged amount of time.

well i recently got a tat too they said wait at least two whole weeks which i didnt because i ended going the next day but it looks fine i just kept getting out and putting lots vasaline

Twelve days is fine. Go swimming! But make sure you don't neglect it afterwards. Moisturize, moisturize.
