My JVC Camera records wounderfull. But when I playback the tape into my VCR I hear popping and crackling noise during playback. Any ideas what it might be?

your problem is that you have a jvc s-vhs camcorder.... it is time to upgrade to at least an 8mm.... you will never be able to get that thing repaired for less than a new one or a good used on ebay.... hundred bucks on ebay will get you a very sweet camera.....

Geez i have been in professional video for eons, and i have never heard popping and crackles noises from the video cassette on playback. Try a different tape in the player, if it still pops, then the VCR needs attention. If not, then it is the tape cassette shell, which has a number of internal parts, including brakes that may be damaged. In that case, it is possible to transfer the tape over to a new shell.

It's toast. Possible power supply or motor problems. A VCR can be bought for $30.

probably has dirt in it.. clean it..
