easy then buy the crunchy cheaper one and grind to smooth in a food processor or buy your own peanuts and blend then down yourself which is even cheaper

No I didn't know that but I'm sure it has something to do with more manpower to make smooth.
Unless, do they add the lumps rather than pulverising the lumps to make smooth?
