I have recently installed Ubuntu Linux to my computer I am in need of a photo editor program do you know of any ?

The best solution would have been to install Ubuntu Studio, it is filled with high end graphic/audio editors for the professional.

Openshot and Kdenlive are probably the two best video editors for Linux; give one of them a try. I'd suggest Openshot first, as Kdenlive will bring with it a host of QT dependencies you may not want.

You should already have one called Gimp. It comes along with Ubuntu. If you don't have it you can download it at:
