I'd have no problem putting a picture of myself there. Nor would I change what I feel. If you ask a question and don't like my answer, that really isn't my problem.

I have had many letters published in the local papers or nugget, so people know my general opinions, my name and area where I live is right under the letters. I wouldn't call that anonomous. I look much like my ave except she's a few pounds lighter and I don't own simular sun glasses. When I figure out how to use my digital camera I will post my picture. I stand behind all my answers though I might have to clarify a few. Not in hiding, Ont. Can.

I don't do anything anonymously. I use the same net handle in all forums, and knowing that, it is not difficult to also find my name and address. I also use a photo when that option is available. I do this so that people in the forums where I post can have some assurance that I stand behind what I post. Of course, since my main mission on the internet is to promote kindness, self-knowledge, and self-control, that's rarely all that risky.

The chances of us ever simply running into each other without setting up a meeting are so remote that I wouldn't have a problem with using my pic. The only reason I don't have my picture up is that I don't own a digital camera.

In answer to your first question, yes, I would. My real picture is on my 360 page, and there's a link to my 360 page on my profile.
But I'm sure there are people who wouldn't be as willing to speak their minds here.

Since i already have one it doesn't bother me. but i don't see why a photo should be required. Some people are shy.
I doubt I would ever run into another poster on the street and that they would remember me from so many others. And i stand behind my opinions, other wise what good are they?

I have nothing to hide and I see no reason that anyone should try to contact me since I don't make threats. Some of these people who post really stupid and explicit questions need to get lives.
My puppy is cute, that is why she is my icon! She plays rough but she does it innocently so she is the perfect icon!

I speak my mind and I chose my picture. If people speak the truth, then there is nothing to worry about! At least I don't!

Yes. I would. I just don't like pictures of me being readily available to anyone online. I might get a stalker or something! Not that it's likely that anyone would be able to find me.

I would always speak my mind. My answers are not offensive nor malicious. The people who hide behind anonymity are the ones that are and should be ashamed of their comments.
