my dear, please read more on biochemistry

here is my opinion:

Plants don´t contain alcohol. Alcohol is a product of fermentation
process of sugars and carbohydrates in presence of yeast. Poly sugars will be metabolized to monosugars or simply carbohydrates.

Carbohydrates / Sugars will turn to Alcohol after fermentaion in the presence of yeast. A further process takes place, whereby Alcohol will turn to Acid.

I assume that you grow bananas in the Phillipines? Bananas naturally secrete ethanol gas from their skins.

more or less anything that contains enough sugar or starch can be used to make ethanol. If you can make liquor from it you can use it ;-)
