OK- I'm only a year older than you! Weird! Anyway, Halloween is my favorite holiday!!! Maybe the reason you're afraid actually does have to do with when you were a baby. Ask your mom/ dad/ or whatever guardian you have if you'd been exposed to halloween masks when you were first born, seeing you were born like right near the holiday.

To get over your fear, now that's a hard one!!! Umm. . . just try going out for Halloween this year telling yourself you wont be afraid.

Good luck, though!

You should seek a therapist's help. I'm pretty sure you'll get to the source of your fear if you do. There's always a reason behind everything, and sometimes, we, no matter how hard we try to dig the truth, just can't do it alone.

Hopefully you'll someday come to love Halloween as much as I used to at your age. It was always a blast! :)

Perhaps you are very spiritually sensitive.

Some profoundly, unspeakably evil events occur on Samhein (i.e., Halloween) every year. Animal shelters will not allow adoption of black animals for a few weeks before Halloween for a very good reason (sadly, many are creully sacrificed on that day). And that is only the tip of the iceberg.

There is no need to fear it if you are spiritually protected. It is important, however, to be AWARE of the reality that Halloween is, indeed, an evil day: a celebration of evil that no Christian should EVER "celebrate". Period.

People who are afraid of roller coasters don't go to amusement parks...Just stay home. Leave to porchlight off. Rent a non-scary movie like "High School Musical" and eat pizza and popcorn.

The next day, its over, and all the "scary" decorations start looking like garbage left out on people's porches.
