Go here. It was the British kingdom in Bengal. Vanga kingdom was an ancient kingdom in Bengal. It appears in the famous Indian epic, the Mahabharata.

It was "Banga" now called Bengal in ancient India, a province then like Kashi, Avanti, Magadh, Kalinga, etc.
