No, Einstein, you can only get STDs from someone who is already infected.

yes, they can be a carrier (which means they have the disease, but no symptoms). This is why you should ALWAYS use protection, looking for outward signs of a STD will not do...think about it! HIV you can't tell and have to "trust" them when they say they dont' have it, herpes is only visible when the person is having an outbreak. These two diseases (as example) are both contagious even when there are not symptions). BE CAREFUL!

No. However, you can get an STD from someone who's 'disease' is dormant. It could be that the person is not having an active episode of the symptoms. Therefore, you would never know they had it unless they told you...or you contracted it from them...and you are absolutely sure that's where you got it.

Just because they do not have symptoms does not mean they do not have anything.If you are referring to a male,things affect them differently sometime.

uuummm last time i checked nooo unless they lie to you and say they dont have anything when they really so then yes you can ge one but if you was sart you would use a helmont(comdon) to prtect your self from getting anything just incase they lie to you.......................
