In your rush to change the world to what you think it should it be like, are you not creating your own form of terror? Many of you claim we serve a false god, (Christianity or Judaism) While your grand high priest Al-otola Gore-mani peddles his new religion (earth worship, and tree worship) down our throats, in our faces, and in our wallets. Some in your camp try to hurt and maim innocent working men and women by driving spikes into trees scheduled to be cut, hoping to destroy the tools, or cause physical harm, and even death. Some in your camp destroy and vandalize logging equipment. I see it, so I know it happens. Many in your camp are so possessed by your cause, that they are willing to inflict what ever suffering it takes to get your way. How many towns and communities that once where thriving logging communities, coal communities or paper communities that were boycotted, protested, or threaten until they closed resulting in more foreign imports, and less American jobs.

Look at the damage that some in your camp caused to the dealership of the SUV’s a few month back, because “they didn’t like them” Do you really think that you can force you way on the rest of us, and not have a major backlash? Put your environmentalist in the presidency, and see what happens. If you want to live the way you preach, go for it, but what gives you the right to push it off on the rest of us. Don’t tell me that what I do, affects You and that where my rights end, What YOU do affects me as well, in higher energy cost, less choices, less jobs, a much higher cost for lumber and building supplies, If I do not want a hybrid car, or a recycling bin, or higher taxes to support YOUR RELIGION then what’s it to you.. Do you really think you can force your ideals on the rest of us, without tearing this nation apart?

non violence is the card that trumps any and all beliefs. i can not condone acts that hurt another in the name of whatever or whoever you think calls the shots.
but because someone does this, do you have the right to trivialize and ridicule the belief that drove them? separate the act from the philosophy, man! it wasn't al gore or allah or the the earth goddess that made someone try to kill or maim someone else. it was their own choice, with a scapegoat attached to rationalize it for them.
someone else hit it on the head: there are extremists in all camps. bombing abortion clinics to save lives? killing in the name of god? how absurd they sound.
the cause is worthwhile and just. but using violence to further it, however 'passionate' you claim to be, cheapens it in the long run, and gives it two black eyes.

I am an environmentalist but I don't like radical environmentalist either. They give the environmental movement a bad name. I sympathize with your plight but reality dictates that if we don't grow trees as fast as we cut them down we will run out of trees. Then what would you do for a job. We will run out of oil eventually. Most likely in your lifetime. What good is a SUV without any gas to put in it? Gas is going to become very expensive in the next 10 years and you can't blame that on environmentalist. Right now nobody is making more oil. And the world is using it up at a greater rate every year. Eventually you won't be able to afford gas for your hybrid. So grow up and face reality and stop blaming environmentalist for your problems. The problems will be here whether there are any environmentalist or not.

If someone cares for the future of the environment for the benefit of their children, it doesn't make them a terrorist.
Your logic statement X=Y is straight from Monty Python. You are a joke ... you spit nothing but piss and vinegar and you add nothing worthwhile to the debate.
What are you doing to sustain the environment you leave for your children? Every individual can make just a little difference but there are 6 billion people on earth of which 2 billion cant afford a light bulb and the rest of us can turn one off once in a while to save the planet for our kids. Try it. You can do it too without becoming a vandal.
Edit:
I think a terrorist is someone who promotes anarchy and chaos in order to wear away civility so that a new order can rise from the ashes of all this destruction. They don't want anything except a new world order where their own religious doctrines prevail as law.

I bear in mind yet another one someplace else yet could no longer think of of it to Google top on the 2d. Smaller, yet nonetheless terrorist assaults on American soil. it is amazingly actual and an significant possibility top right here at abode. there is often the extreme hype from the media and sources which will use something like this for his or her very own very own benefit and pursuits. this shouldn't make the yank people think of any much less of the definitely possibility that's obtainable.

The answer is MEMES. Excellent Youtube video. Thank you for sharing this with us.
You obviously feel very passionately about this subject, which is great. However there are a lot of ideas in this one question, which makes it very difficult to answer well.
Can I suggest you pose an individual question for each idea? That way, people can consider it fully and give you a more reasoned response. So the first question may be your first sentence for example.
I will look out for your individual questions.

People who vandalize and burn automobiles and buildings are not environmentalists by any stretch of the imagination. They do not deserve to be called environmentslists.
People who spike trees, burn automobiles and buildings are vicious antisocial people. Many of them have severe mental disorders.
They may attempt to cover their criminal behavior by calling it environmentalism. If they didn't have environmentalism as an excuse they would probably say they were spiking trees, burning automobiles and buildings to advance some form of Christian Fundamentalism, which would also be ridiculous.
There is no group of environmentalists that recognizes these nitwits as legitimate. They are just parasites attempting to attach their antisocial criminal behavior to a legitimate group of people.

Based on your argument, the American Revolutionaries were terrorists. If you're fine with that, then that's fine by me. In any case, there are literally hundreds of big differences between Islamic extremists and radical environmentalists. You are creating a dichotomy of ambiguity to try to invalidate your opponent. That is a fallacy of logic.

Anti-Abortionist vs. Terrorist... What's the difference? Some Anti-Abortionists have been threatening those who are attempting to get abortions, killed doctors and bombed clinics in attempts to further their beliefs.
What's your point? Grouping in radical environmentalists in with all environmentalists is like grouping in Islamic terrorists in with all Muslim people to make an argument against them, although something tells me you'd be ok with that...

I certainly agree with you. In addition, there are real environmental terrorists, like ELF, etc. Why is it so hard to catch them? We catch other people who do real crimes. And we are supposed to be in a prevention mode. Do you think there is political correctness going on in this area?
