I think if you took a look at individual US kingdom halls you would find the typical adult JW to be a high school graduate with -maybe- trade school training. I've been involved with 5 congregations and few if none in them were college educated.
I think it's easy to generalize "oh yeah, loads and loads are college educated, some are rocket scientist, brain surgeons, nuclear physicists, i've heard of them all. just depends on the individual's desires for education." I don't think this is true.

what's important about this question is if I were considering being a JW, I'd want to know the background and training of the leaders of the Church. Who would be counselling me if I were in spiritual trouble, who would be involved with my life.

True Christians have never been overly concerned with a new Christian's past life or human credentials. Jehovah's Witnesses ask almost no secular questions of those hoping to qualify for baptism.
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were.
(2 Corinthians 3:5-6) Not that we of ourselves are adequately qualified to reckon anything as issuing from ourselves

I don't know any JW converts, but I do know some JW's and none of them were college educated, in fact some of them barely made it out of High School. If you are consdiering being brainwashed by the JW's I would like to suggest that you do some studing on your own. Every JW I know have some kind of abusive past growing up and have left the hall. Their own mothers don't even speak to them.
The only place I can think you can find that information about the demographic of an adult convert is probably the at the Watchtower home page, but keep in mind, it may be a lie.

If you look in any typical "church" no matter what the religion, you are going to find "average" people, not everyone is going to be college educated. That doesn't mean they are ignorant or somehow inferior. How many other religions would actually keep a record of that type of demographics?
What you will find at every congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses is a group of meek, humble, teachable people from every educational, ethnic and material background, all serving Jehovah unitedly without prejudice.
Lack of humility hinders the proud from gaining knowledge and understanding of Jehovah and his purpose. You might find 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 interesting in this regard.

Emotionally vulnerable people are at greater 'risk' of being converted to the JWs than most others. From teenagers to those in their 50s, this holds good but more senior citizens are far less likely to be recruited. And the more biblically illiterate a person is when first contacted, the more quickly the JWs can impress them and persuade them. They gain most success from working class housing estates. If any records are kept, you can be sure rank and file JWs won't get to see them, but just visit any Kingdom Hall, get chatting to as many people as you can (as I have done) and you will soon notice this. There ARE a few academics in their midst, however, and some well qualified individuals, but most of them became JWs after they gained such education.

If/As you already trust Islam and the statement of religion(talked approximately as the Shahada) then that makes you a Muslim, yet its additionally significant to declare the shahada infront of witnesses who're Muslim too. in the Quran, Allah says persist with Allah and the Messenger. the persons who accompanied the Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him the basically right have been the companions at that element, they talked approximately his movements etc and his spouse Aisha might Allah be happy along with her mentioned famously, Muhammad became into like the'walking/residing Quran'. Its mandatory for us to stay with the hadith, with the Quran being the main significant e book of Islam. in case you come across any community mosques, with a bit of luck you will locate suggestion and help there from Muslims, inclusive of reverts.

Their exactly like everyone else. You have your good, bad, etc. You don't really believe that only drones join? These are regular people, they just want to have a religion that is Bible based, with their traditions and BELIEF'S coming from the Bible and not some man's lips. If its not Bible-based, don't do it. They believe in good health-care and great doctors. They believe in law and order, they also believe that if you treat a person well, usually they will treat you well in return.
However, sadly, once in a while; someone truly unhappy gets in and starts with the gossip, innuendo, and chao's spreading. They ARE "only" human, and imperfect. Some seem to enjoy it (hey, the Bible says to "forgive 70x7" but that doesn't mean you have to tolerate it in your midst 'if they are not sorry for their behavior.')
So, yes, some are college educated and some aren't. Some haven't even graduated High School, but one thing is sure, I've NEVER met ONE that couldn't read!

Actually there is a net loss of Watchtower adult membership with 13,000 individuals leaving every month.Your right, the ones with any education are adult recruits, who went to 'worldly' college before joining the JW.
Know this, most JW's are 'born in' like myself,if you think I am making this up just look around the kingdom hall and do a snap survey.
A shocking 80% of kids leave same deal,go ahead and count the kids who have come and gone in your hall.
Stepford wife-'A perfect woman beyond belief'.The Watchtower apologist exclaim 'Jehovah's Witnesses are the 'happiest people on earth'.
The Watchtower is the 'love slaved stepford cult'.The 'religion' of Jehovah's Witnesses is a dangerous cult that controls every aspect of its members' lives.
I was born 1957 a 3rd generation Jehovah's Witness into this oppressive watchtower cult and barely survived it.

When I was a JW...No one and I mean NO ONE went any higher that high school..
.There were a lot of things like higher education that were not out and out taboo, but the Watchtower would come out with articles with questions such as the following.
.....In the final days, wouldn't a prudent minister of Jehovah want to dedicate all of their time, not in secular education, but in the life saving door to door service of Jehovah.....
I grew up with a slew of young Jehovah's Witnesses and not one went to as much as a trade school......TRUTH
