4 ounces per person with other entrees or 6 ounces per person if it is the main course.

The average meat dish is meant to be about 4ounces so with 10lbs chicken you could safely serve 15lbs of grilled tritip - remember not all people eat meat so you may want to have some eggplant or another option and if there will be kids grab a couple packs of hot dogs and save yourself some stress. Good Luck!

I would make about 8-10 pounds of meat. This will give you about 35-40 4 ounce servings (after cooking). Am I invited :)

I've heard you should have a quarter pound per person, so I would say 10 pounds.
