It really depends on what kind of party you are having. I'm assuming that you are looking for primarily finger foods. I like serving a good cheese platter, chicken salad sandwiches (use regular sandwich bread, cut off the crust, and cut into quarters). One of my all time favorties is Grape Jelly Meatballs, and they are always a hit....you can save time by using the frozen meatballs from Gordon Food Service. Fresh Veggies with a good dip. I like using 1 16oz. container of sour cream mixed with one packet if Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Mix (not the dip mix, the one you use to make the dressing) and mix in about one cup of salsa. It goes really well with fresh veggies and tortialla chips both. Seven layers taco dip is also another good party item. Most recipes will just say refried beans. I personally prefer using the refried black beans rather than the traditional refried beans. Make some chicken burger patties ahead of time (four every two pounds of ground chicken add lots of diced onions, tomatoes, one beaten egg, salt, freshly chopped garlic, some grated ginger, and red pepper flakes to taste.......make the patties and fry on a low heat......for each batch you will need to add oil to the pan and when you place the patties in the pan drizzle a little oil on top of each patty......cook on low heat with a lid until done......when you make the patties wet your hands and the meat mixture will not stick to your hands as bad.). They taste great even at room temperature and heat easliy in the microwave.

Have fun at your party.

That's "what" (not wat) and bascially any finger foods or things that don't require a lot of work to eat or prepare on your plate, and utensils should be optional.

Meatballs (use toothpicks to eat them), small eggrolls or spring rolls, pigs in a blanket, chips/dip, fruit and/or veggie tray with dip, chicken nuggets, cheese n' crackers, petit fours, etc.

You didn't say what kind of party so those things may be too casual...do some research on the 'net and you'll find other suggestions that may suit your theme. ☺

well, all party goers like salty food and sweet drinks. I suggest chips, pretzels, ice tea, punch, a vegatable tray with ranch dressing in the middle. Another big hit is cheese, meat, and cracker trays. Always consider ice cream and cake.
