haha, you all didn't give any reason. disappointing.

Why can't i survive, i doubt. A hole in the trachea doesn't affect the breathing of lung, it is just like air entering through nose, and now the nose is the hole.

Or, is it because the lungs don't get moisture and warmth?

No. The hyoid bone is located in the sagittal section of the larynx and upper part of the trachea. I learned on Court TV that if the hyoid bone is broken, the forensic investigators know that is evidence of strangulation.

what kinda idiotic question is this? obviously, if it has already happened to you, then you should already know the answer (unless your some sort of cyborg freak). if it hasn't happened yet, i wouldn't recommend doing it anytime in the near future, unless you're into pain (which again makes you a big freak).
