Is it just me, or do you answer questions in other categories?

I think its ok to answer questions in any category, I mean you don't have to stay in one place, and feel guilty if you go to other categories, there is nothing wrong there. I think its interesting to see what's happening in all catagories, that's why I am putting this in the R & S section, so you know you did nothing wrong by going to other questions in different catageries. Does anyone thin this is wrong, I thought I heard someone saying it was wrong to go to other places except R & S, what does everyone think?

the reason i asked this was someone apologized for going to another catagory in beauty, and ask the regulars in R & S to forgive her, and I don't think she did anything wrong.

That's silly. I usually just stay on the front page and answer any question that interests me. A lot of the ones I am interested happen to be R&S questions, but I answer anything I have an answer for.

I tend to jump from category to category a fair bit. Some days I might feel like some light hearted talk so I'll venture into the Jokes section. Other days, I'll come in here to discuss/read about some more heavier topics. Then I might dip back into the section where I call home. Every section has a purpose and if you don't visit at least two then I don't know if you'd be getting the full enjoyment from this site. =)

No, nothing's wrong with going to other sections. I do it from time to time. The only time someone would say you're in the wrong section is if the subject you're asking about can be asked at a more appropriate section. For example: questions about sports in the R& S section, unless you consider the back and forth bantering in here a sport.

I check out many of the categories just for a change of pace. If someone has a problem with that, it's too bad. Sometimes all the preachy-religious questions become overwhelming for me and I really need a break. I don't mean to sound crass; if I do, I apologize.

Yay. i think of that as a results of fact the usually going on of the questions asked right here decreased, the usually going on of the solutions additionally decreased. i hit upon myself rarely answering any question heavily anymore, a minimum of in comparison to I used to. The questions listed under are the two repetitive or published via trolls. Like Talawah, i don't answer as many questions as I used to different than whilst i'm bored. EDIT: lol Chop chop, I savor your solutions. you're an exception.

I prefer R & S but I skip all over the place with a multifaceted curiosity and interest about many things. If it is wrong I am sorry but I don't feel like it is wrong. Do I need to go to confession?

I also stay mainly on the front page, and answer questions ad hoc, but I seem to end up in either R&S, or another of the Society & Culture pages. That seems to be where people have the most serious needs.

It is a free country! Go to whatever category you want to! I go all over the place! It is interesting to see what the others are!

I think it's good to visit other categories too. However most questions in these other categories are either too specific to be of general interest or simply beyond one's experience to be of any personal relevance.

I can't believe this question. Of coure you are alloud to go to other catagories on Y! Answers. I write poetry and post it there. i do what I want on this site and think it silly that people are getting mad for going to other catagories.
