I know and like tofu when made correctly. The key to tofu is that is has no real taste on its own so its all about preparing it with other things that will give it flavor.

Yes I know tofu and like it very well. There are many different "types" some are for soups or shakes, some are much firmer which are used for grilling etc. Use alot of seasoning because alone tofu has very little flavor.

I've had tofu and some tofu products. For example: I've had tofu burgers and it really isn't too bad taste-wise but the texture is a lot like soggy meat (if that's even possible). And if you eat tofu by itself (which I definitely don't recommend), it tastes incredibly nasty.

I LOVE tofu!
It's available in so many forms. High in protein, low in fat. Inexpensive and good for you too!

It's easy to cook with, always ready to absorb the flavors of whatever sauce you're cooking it in.

Tofu is almost a perfect food!

Soccer dude is right. The Chinese do it best. I had THE most unbelievable tofu dish in Shanghai that had lots of tomato, chilli, ginger and garlic that I still crave. Oh, watering mouth. At yum cha I love the fried tofu with chilli and garlic and salt. Yum. Tofu only sucks if you don't know how to treat it or what to do with it. The same could be said of anything.

I know about tofu. I like it. It's pretty good. It's very versatile, so you can do a lot with it. I love in miso soup, or cut up into steaks and fried. Or just dip it in tempura batter, fry it up and serve it with a sweet soy sauce. Being a meat eater, I rarely eat it, but when I do, I make sure it tastes great!

I like it in certain forms, but I ate too much of it a few months ago and now I prefer plain beans.
I like tofu scramble with potatoes and lots of rosemary and garlic, and tofu in pie, and mango-peach flavoured "dessert tofu" the best.

I used to know some tofu but I didn't like it, it was to much of a smartass so I threw it out.

Yes, tofu is (this sounds gross) soybean curd. It is a very good meat substitute though. It really has no flavor. My dad was quite the health nut & quit eating red meat when I was 6. 1 thing that was good with tofu was tacos. When you add the taco seasoning it's pretty good. (just don't taste it before that) It just has a different texture. Boca burgers which are made with tofu are good too. They flavor it to taste like a hamburger, but the texture is what's different.

I like tofu but the chinese way that has to be cook, fried, and then mix them with the rice. Otherwise, they will go in the trash.
