Tomatoes are easy. Squash and cucumbers are, but if you don't have a lot of room, get bush varieties. Radishes, lettuce, and other greens are easy. Green beans and sweet corn, too. The key is prepare the soil, plant by directions, water, and keep weeds pulled, and bad insects out.
If you are looking to plant now, if you are in the Northern Hemisphere, then you won't get much. But if you plant at the end of this month, you can raise greens, such as mustard, turnip, and spinach, as a fall crop.

I always have luck with radishes, any type of squash and melons. Actually, I planted canteloupe 3 years ago and I've never had to plant it since, It comes back up every year, I never know where it's going to come back up, but it does!
