Slumber parties are fun and they can make popcorn and brownies and watch movies. Somethng scary like spiderman. That should keep them screaming all night.
make it a spiderman party. complete with cob webs.
It doesn't have to be a holiday to play dressup and fix up a room.

Stay out of her way and let her enjoy herself, provide some food and check in once or twice but don't be intrusive. At that age she'll want a little independence and some space to talk about things she isn't ready to talk about with people other than her friends. Just ask her what she'd like interms of food, movies, guests, space to use in the house etc. and leave her be after that. Less work and more respect for you

I would take them to a pizza place the had some other type of activity. Just dont stand around looking at the teenagers. They do not need you there all the time. Put some money in the juke box, and let them select the songs. Let them dance and have fun, at least you will not need to clean up.

hawaiin theme would be cool. give every girl a lei or buy jolly ranchers and colorful ribbon and have them make one. also make a fruit salad (its good and healthy), pina coloda (non-alcholoic of course) and put an umbrella for fun with a colorful straw, pineapple and ham pizza.
also have the girls bring hawaiin dresses, sandals, and make sure to decorate the room with hawaiin decorations (i always see hawaiin decorations at walmart and even the dollar tree) good luck and hope that your 14 year old and friends have fun.

No theme. Just order pizza, have cake and ice cream, put out various types of snacks, as well as maybe some cut up veggies and fruit, pop and juice -- that's it. Cereal for breakfast.

Im 15,
Ask them exactly what they want and tell them to give afew ideas so that if the first is too expensive u have a fallback.
Theres nothing worse than having a birthday party that you didnt want to have.

Can you just take everyone to her favorite restaurant, then to an ice cream store for dessert? Let the girls sit by themselves, you a table or two over. They'll love that, and it will give them all good experience.

try not to make it too juvenile, no clowns and such....but don't try to be cool, either, no parent can quite pull that one off successfully. Keep it current, and clean, but interesting to junior high schoolers...try asking the 14 yr. old what they'd like if they were to have a party, they WILL have definite likes/dislikes, and likely be willing to share if asked. Just my thoughts.
