Okay, I need help planning my sisters birthday party. She is turninng 14 on January 21st. What are some types of parties that we could have for her? It would just be family. What could we do for her?

We do PARTY TIME!
We order pizza and all sit in the living room and watch TV (her favorite DVD). Until the pizza arrives, we pig out on popcorn & soda.
We also do breakfast. We have waffles with strawberries & whip cream, or banana pancakes with scrambled, fried or omleted eggs. Yes, for dinner.
How about a picnic? You make a plate of cold cuts and cheeses, another of variety crackers, and the last of sliced fresh fruits. Everybody sits on the floor on a tablecloth.
I hope she has fun!

Dear Katie,
If the party is not a surprise, ask her what she would like.
If it is, how about "movie night"? If you know her favorite movie, rent that and see if you can get an advertising poster of it from the movie rental store.
Make some snack foods she would like and relax.
If you're planning "just family", she may have more fun if her best friend was included.

decorate your place and make her favorite food.
print out pictures of her when she was little until now and put on a show of them for all the family.
decorate the place so she feels special and the place looks different.
make her wear a tiara or something like a button to differentiate her from everyone else at the party.
have lots of music and invite her very closest friends.
