Place the corn cob on a piece of wax paper. Put a little water on the corn, like maybe half a tablespoon. Wrap the corn up in the wax paper and seal off the ends with rubber bands. Heat for approx 8 minutes depending on how strong your microwave is.

I've done it this way many a time.

peel some of the husk off then put them on a microwave safe dish, add water to cover 1/2 of the corn then add 1 tsp of salt and microwave 1 - 1 1/2 minutes per corn cob.

I truly choose to cook corn on the cob in a microwave after reducing off the surplus backside and precise. i won't think of how keeping onto the precise and pulling the corn from the backside leaving the corn silk unfastened.

Spread butter on cob or if you prefer add 2 tablespoons water for each ear.
Put ears in zip-lock bag and close three-quarter of the way. Place 2 paper towels (pint side up) under bag. Microwave for 2 1/2 minutes for each ear.

Keep the corn in the husk. Pop in the mic. for 2-2/12 mins per ear. No more than 4 ears at a time though...I haven't had great luck with more than 4. To husk it I use oven mitts and husk normally. They are much easier to husk hot than cold! None of the silk sticks to the ear of corn .
