I had to go in emergency today due to abdominal pain, and they had my ECG, and had given me my ECG report to show my family doctor. I'm planning to see my family doctor tomorrow, my ECG report says:
* Sinus Tachycardia with short pr interval
* Abnormal Rhythm ECG

Does anyone know what that means?
Thanks

Yes. Sinus tachycardia is fancy for 'fast heartbeat'. Short PR interval, without going into a EKG lesson means that your atria (top chambers of your heart) aren't contracting at the 'normal time'. Honestly, it's rarely a true problem, however it's worth getting looked at.
There are a lot of causes, and a few possible rhythms. I couldn't tell you without seeing the EKG.

It means that your rhythm is normal but your heart is beating too fast. It could be from lots of things so try not to worry about it, just take the report to your doctor.

These are timing and control anomalies, if they were of a serious nature they would have sent you to a cardiologist instead of your family doctor.
