Yes- you can have this gum. The ingredients you should look out for are gelatin and glycerin. Gelatin is a colorless, odorless and flavorless mixture of proteins from animal bones, connective tissues and other parts as well as from certain algae (agar agar); when dissolved in a hot liquid and then cooled it forms a jelly-like substance used as a thickener and stabilizer in molded desserts, cold soups, chaud-froid creations and the like and as a fining agent in beer and wine.
Glycerin is Also known as glycerol, glycerin is a carbohydrate (sugar) that is not a substantial food source for most wine yeast strains, though it can be consumed by some lactic acid and acetic acid bacteria. It is sometimes added to wine to increase a wine's body and, in higher amounts, sweetness.
Some glycerin is not animal based, but it would say so on the package.
Of course, anything partially hydrogenated is not really that good for you, but yes, it is vegetarian.

hey, why you askin if you can have something? Being a vegan or vegetarian doesnt mean that you are on a life or death diet. It's mainly for humanitarian reasons or something of that nature. Dont let someone dictate what you eat. Wait til you are much older and you absolutely cant have something, then you will wish you didnt worry so much as a youngin

do something else besides gum if you have a oral fettish, which it sounds like you do (don't worry i have on also), i am really into chapstick, but not just any brand i have to have my merryhempsters vegan hemp chapstick. then you can apply as many times as you want through out the day, they have a plethra of flavors, i prefer the natural hemp flavor myself, and you wont feel a bit bad about it b/c it is vegan and it just feels so good and smooth on your lips! (i got a whole box of em for my birthday last year, just wonderful :) )

I have told people I can eat whatever I want to, but I choose not to.
As for being hungry all of the time, why? Since I became vegetarian, eventually vegan, I don't get hungry. Well, that's not true. I get hungry more (and eat more) with this pregnancy.

Watch out with gum, though; manufacturers are not legally required to list some ingredients, and use gelatin and sometimes latex. <-- gross!
In case you're wondering, latex is made with a milk ingredient.

Partially hydrogenated cotton seed oil (which is a trans fat; a poison) causes cancer, birth defects, heart disease, diabetes, and liver disease. It alters the structure of your cell membranes in your body, causing cell by cell disintegration of your health.

Gum is bad for your teeth. You can wear off the enamel (cavities, sensitive teeth, root canals, sound fun?) and get TMJ from chewing it. Have a bottle of water instead.

You're probably thinking of gelatin. Actually most vegetarians eat gelatin, it's vegans that cut it out. It's not exactly good for you, but in small quanitities it's fine.
