Abnormal cells are what they see when they do a pap smear. It could be nothing.......... or it could be HPV. I have had this happen many times over the years. If it is HPV, it is easily dealt with. They will give you a number between 1 and 5 on the severity of it. They will tell you what can be done and it is 99.9% curable......... although it does come back. I had a boyfriend that was not monogomous and he gave me HPV. Please do not talk about killing yourself. I have had this for 25 years and it is totally livable and not something you need to discuss with anyone. What HPV is, is a form of cervical cancer. If you want to talk privately, beel free to email me. Relax, it is ok. ((((((((HUGS)))))))))))

First just calm down. It is not uncommon, especially after having a yeast infection for the pap smear to show "abnormal" cells. It just means that some of the cells were mis-shapen and well, just not in the realm of "normal".
It doesn't mean you have some deadly disease at all. All the doctor wants to do is a re-check to make sure the cells are going back to normal now that the yeast is dealt with.

They probably did a pap smear and want to check back. Lots of people can have a few abnormal cells on a pap smear, but when you get retested, they will look a lot closer. Plus, getting it checked out means that you can be confident, because cervical cancer can go undetected if you don't keep up with your pap smears, affecting your fertility and health in the future.

Don't worry about it, chances are they just saw something that required more tests. This is not to say that you have an incurable disease.
