I have tons and tons of paper that I need to get rid of, but I'm an environmental freak. The papers I need to throw out are all used up, that is, it is written of fully the front and back side. Can I still recycle it?

Paper that has been written on can be recycled. Staples can be a problem if some are stapled together.

Paper and cardboard are some of the easiest materials to recycle and account for a high percentage of the waste products that consume our land fills. Typically, paper is chopped up and used in many different applications, mostly in other paper products or in insulation. It can also be treated and formed into building products such as decking.
