Also, what are some of the best waterfalls in UP Michigan? I'm thinking of going in about a month, so they'd have to be pretty spectacular, or else they'd be dried up. :(

Any advice on which waterfalls are the best to see while camping up there would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, TFSP is a great place to camp. There are two sets of falls there, an upper and lower. In terms of water volume, those are the biggest ones. If you work your way west along the south shore of Lake Superior, there are more falls around Munising, and generally awesome scenery out towards Copper Harbor.
Depending on your time constraints and how far you want to travel, there are also a lot of good waterfall campgrounds on the north shore of the lake between Duluth and the Canadian border..

Leelanau pennisula in the "pinky" portion of Michigan. there is in basic terms a ton of gorgeous country up there. i'm from west-obligatory Michigan and spend a week on Lake Leelanau each and every 365 days (I pay attention that there is powerful walleye fishing on Lake Leelanau. Pyramid element is a gorgeous sand dune that towers over the Lake Michigan sea coast, there are various hiking trails close by that are no longer loopy busy. additionally, an incredible form of winerys in the region. there is a lot to do, with the two touristy and not-so-touristy exciting factors. i'm unsure approximately waterfalls... yet there particular is an incredible form of water! good success.

I went there when I used to live in Michigan as a kid, and it was beautiful. If you are looking for waterfalls in Michigan, it is the place to go! I wish I still lived back there so I could visit the beautiful UP. Pictured Rocks is also quite beautiful. Have fun!!!

Hello and thanks for choosing Michigan. Tahquamenom falls are awesome falls but are somewhat slower in the summer and since we haven't had that much rain, might be even slower. Have you thought of Pictured Rocks? There are several notable waterfalls there. In and around the Munising area there are a couple of falls also. There is also Laughing Whitefish Falls southwest of Munising that are beautiful. Recommended are Munising, Miners, and Sable Falls. Check out
www.superiortrails.com for a list of falls and campgrounds. It is beautiful in the UP this time of year. Enjoy and have fun! Good luck!
