With me having two parties thrown and a limited with what I am allowed to bring and never having a going away party before I am not sure what to expect. Do people give gifts? If so how can I tell them that I dont want anything?

Just be a gracious guest of honor. You may receive some gifts... hopefully most people will know it's just something else for you to have to move!

Show up on time, dont' get drunk, and be grateful that you have so many friends, family, and coworkers that will miss you.

More than likely the gifts might be gag in nature, maybe a grass skirt or two, you'll probably get lots of card with well wishes written on them. IF the invitations have not gone out yet, tell the host of each party to please indicate that you do not want gifts.

Oh and can I be your new best friend and go to the islands with you????
