I recently found out that my friends mom got herpes before she had him, does that mean that she could have passed them on to her son?

A mother can pass the virus to her baby during birth if she is having an outbreak at the time of delivery. As the baby is coming through the birth canal, the baby can rub against any sores the mother may have which would cause the baby to contract the virus. Being born with herpes is EXTREMELY rare though and can be avoid by having a C-section delivery if the mother is having an outbreak at the time of delivery. I've read it's estimated about 0.1% of babies in the US will be born with herpes.

Herpes is spread by DIRECT skin to skin contact. It is NOT genetic like green eyes or curly hair and it's NOT in the blood like HIV or hepatitis is. This is why people with herpes can still donate blood.

HSV infection of neonates
This results from HSV-2 and is often fatal, although such infections are rare. Infection is especially possible if the mother is shedding virus at the time of delivery. Thus prospective mothers should avoid contracting herpes during pregnancy. A first episode of HSV-2 infection during pregnancy creates a greater risk of transmission to the newborn. If a woman has active genital herpes at delivery, a cesarean-section delivery is usually performed. The virus can either be obtained in utero or during birth with the latter being more common. Because the neonate has an underdeveloped immune system, the virus can spread rapidly to many peripheral organs (e.g. lungs and liver) and can infect the central nervous system

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

I tested positive for herpes type 2 approximately six years back, when I was still in college and had a spupid one night stand. I am sure a lot of women will say this but believe me I never did that sort of thing. I just made mistake that one time and, suddenly, it seemed like I was going to have to live with it for the rest of my life. The awful part was thinking I could never meet guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has blisters around her you-know-what? But after a good friend shared this video https://tr.im/0T5jC everything has changed. Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my body in less than two weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met my soul mate and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This program gave me the chance to be happy again, and to experience true love.

Cold sores are caused by the herpes virus. Many of us already have the cold sore virus dormant in our bodies, and never have a flare up of cold sores. We contracted it as children, as it is a very common virus, and children pick it up easily as they often share food and drinks, and may be less concerned about hand washing and hygiene. Cold sores can be transmitted even when the person does not have a cold sore, though it is less likely to happen then.

remember that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!

I got diagnosed with herpes type 2 about seven years ago, when I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. However, Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again!

Moles, warts, and skin tags are typical skin lesions that develop naturally. Although they're typically low malignant, they may be uncomfortable if located on a visible part including the face.
