hmmm, France has a lot of good cheeses. My guess would be Gruyere.

I have no idea but tell your brother the best hot dogs are really from CHICAGO. Hubby and I took a trip there last summer and woo woo!

My daughter has a friend that lived in France last year, I'll ask her what kind of cheese is on a hot dog fromage. Email me and remind me.

My guess would be extra sharp cheddar cheese. Regarding hot dogs, the 3 best hot dogs in the world are:

1. Nathan's - Originated in Coney Island - With natural casing
2. Hebrew National - With natural casing
3. Jordans Hot Dogs - With natural casing.

Chicago hot dogs are different, but still tasty with all the condiments put on it....but still a second banana to NY dogs.
