Depends on the restaurant and what of meat you have on it.

An order of chicken or tofu pad thai can rasnge from $5.00 to $10.00; for shrimp or seafood, it could be a couple bucks more.

Depends if you are eating - in Bangkok or a fancy restaurant. It should be a really cheap dish, in the U.K you'll pay 6 or 8 quid because Thai restaurants are expensive here. Make it yourself. I use rice noodles, bean sprouts, egg, crushed peanuts, spring onions. For the flavour I mix sugar, lemon juice, crushed garlic and fish sauce. The expensive bits are the meat or sea food that you can add. If you can get dried shrimps from an oriental type supermarket then that gives it a more authentic taste. I like it with a little Nam Prik Plaa - fish sauce mixed with sugar and birds eye chillies on top.
