One box tri color spiral pasta
1 small bottle of Italian dressing
1 small package of frozen broccoli flowerettes
1 small sweet onion chopped in 1/4 inch dice
1 sweet red bell pepper, cut into 1/4 inch dice
1 large carrot--shredded
1 small can of sliced black olives
1 clove of garlic, mashed
S and P to taste
Mix all vegetables together. Cook pasta to just al dente' and drain. Pour hot pasta onto veggies and mix in the bottle of Italian dressing. Stir well. Cool and put in the fidge. This is best made one day in advance. Adjust seasonings before serving.

Garden Vegetable Salad
(see picture at the link)
You Will Need
6 medium tomatoes, quartered
1 medium green pepper, julienned
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons celery seed
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large cucumber, peeled and sliced
What to Do
1. In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, green pepper, and onion.
2. In a small saucepan, combine the vinegar, sugar, celery seed, mustard, and salt; bring to a boil.
3. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over vegetables. Let stand until mixture comes to room temperature.
4. Stir in the cucumber. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until chilled.
Serves: 6

Here is a wonderful combination of broccoli, grapes, almonds, bacon, and a creamy dressing. Make a batch to take to your next summer outing!
Raw Veggie Picnic Salad
INGREDIENTS
6 slices bacon
4 cups broccoli florets
1 cup chopped celery
1 (10 ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed
1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 cup seedless green grapes
1 cup seedless red grapes
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons grated onion
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
DIRECTIONS
Place bacon in a skillet over medium high-heat, and cook until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
In a large bowl, toss together the bacon, broccoli, celery, peas, cranberries, green onions, green grapes, red grapes, and almonds. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, salt, vinegar, grated onion, Parmesan cheese, and mayonnaise. Pour dressing over the salad. Gently toss to coat.

how about some raw veggies and dip . I usually go to the grocery store and get one of those trays that has everything already made. good luck . enjoy the picnic.

any veg. will do: eggplant, squash, corn, peppers - go to store and see what is avail. - have fun
