I recycle nearly all my waste - paper, plastic bottles, glass, organic waste, foil etc., but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do with all those plastic tubs that fruit comes in (strawberries, blueberries etc) and microwave meals. It seems to make up most of my waste now I that recycle nearly everything else. I can't find a second use for them. Does your council collect them in the recycling?

My Recycling company will take them. They have a bin for the plastic trays from frozen meals. If you can't find anyone to take them, stack them together so they don't take up as much space in your trash.

there's a twig paint which will bond to plastic which would be obtained at maximum hardware shops. there's a commercial each and every summer season exhibiting individuals spraying their plastic backyard fixtures and how the paint does not peel off. i think of the employer call is Krylon, yet i'm confident the ironmongery shop will understand for confident.

Our council doesn't collect them but there are several local sites that have plastics collection areas and they all include the food boxes you are describing.

We just wash ours out & stack them in bags until we are next going that way then take them along. Simple!

Contact your local elementary school, pre-school, daycare etc...and ask if they could use them. I work at a day program for developmentally disabled adults and we use those types of things all the time for crafts.

Use them for planting seeds.

Any really clean tubs or pots with lids can be used for food storage.

Lids can also be used as furniture castors.

Put them in the garbage can, when it's full, take it to the curb. I'll bet your garbage man feels like you don't love him anymore.
