I am looking for more skin friendly products to use to remove adhesives from insulin pump infusion sets and adhesive medical tapes. I have heard the Avon's Skin-So-Soft works well but I don't like the smell. I'm trying to stay away from anything too chemically.

Any type of fruit or veggie oil should work.

Skin So Soft comes in other fragrances now. Find an Avon lady if you like the stuff. But regular mineral oil should do the job if Skin So Soft does it and no smell.

Skin So Soft works for me. In a pinch, Go-Jo works pretty well too. You can find Go-Jo in auto-supply stores and most large retailers (Wal Mart and such).
Acetone works really well in removing tape residue but it can be hard on your skin. Nail polish remover contains acetone. If you use this, be sure to wash your skin well after you use it to remove the residue and apply some lotion to keep it from drying your skin out.

I use Uni-solve before taking a shower. It comes in little individually wrapped pledgets, like an alcahol wipe. It's smelly by works way more quickly than alcahol and then gets washed off.

I know rubbing alcohol will work but that also has a strong smell just wash off with soap and water after applying alcohol

How about baby oil, or petroleum jelly? It works pretty well on sticky stuff.
